The National Journal of Biomedical Engineering  is an open free scientific online publication in English. This journal publishes original research articles, reviews, brief scientific reports in the field of biomedical engineering and its specializations:

We believe that science should be open and free for everyone: both for authors and readers.

Our aim is to publish original articles in biomedical engineering, guided only by the scientific value of the article in spite of the author’s financial condition, his gender, religion and political views.

Peer Review Process

Within the framework of editorial politics The National Journal of Biomedical Engineering strictly adheres to the publishing standards of the publication ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors)
 
Originality
 
Papers should describe the original work of the authors that has not been previously published in a refereed journal and is not currently under consideration for publication in another.
 
Double Publication
 
Papers should not report work that the author has already published in another journal. This is also an ethical violation. Such papers will be rejected.
 
On the observance of publishing ethics by the editors of electronic edition «The National Journal of Biomedical Engineering» and the statement of prevarication absence
 
1. No plagiarism is allowed. If the author uses the fragments borrowed from other sources in his paper, he should make a reference to these sources.
2. The editors publish the papers of the authors from all countries and of all nationalities who deal with the problem determined by the editorial policy.
3. The editors don’t cooperate with the authors who have ever been caught in plagiarism in his papers submitted to the electronic edition «The National Journal of Biomedical Engineering » or other editions if this fact will be revealed.
4. The editors use software to reveal plagiarism related to the papers available in Internet.
5. The editors will be grateful to the readers for any information concerning revealed elements of plagiarism and breaking of ethical rules by the authors. This information will be published in the edition.
 
6. The editors undertake obligations not to publish papers appealing for terrorism and containing xenophobia and  offences of other authors or citizenry.
 
7. The journal allows authors to keep author’s rights and their rights on publication without restrictions.
 
8. Declaration of the Open Access journal. The editors follow the politics of «open access» for the published materials.

9. All reviews on publications and the results for plagiarism checks are published in Open Access

Double-Blind Review
This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity.
